Sunshine Suh

Suh is a queer, half blind, first generation Korean-American fine art painter and illustrator. He was born somewhere over the rainbow in Kansas in 1987.

Drawing inspiration from ancient Chinese painting philosophies, Rorschach ink tests, luck and chance, he strives to blend his dream techniques to confront racial, cultural and sexual repression.

Suh holds a BFA in Painting from the Pacific NW College of Art where he received the President's prize in the 2012 BFA Juried Show and first prize in the 2012 Charles Voorhies Drawing Competition.
